A young resident of Sherwood Park sent a little paper version of herself, named 'Flat Courtney', to Tim Uppal as part of a grade school project. Courtney's class was assigned to mail their paper cut outs to various destinations in Canada and across the world, which is an assignment given to help students learn about different cities and cultures all over the globe. These flat travelers had the opportunity to visit such places as Australia, Portugal, Chile, China and Parliament Hill. Through Tim Uppal, 'Flat Courtney' had the opportunity to meet the Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper.
